University of Liverpool Environmental Sciences Fair 2023

Sam

Sam joined DLA in September 2021. Before his switch to planning, Sam completed a BA in Politics and International Relations at the University of the West of England, and his Interest in Town Planning stems from organising and running a national policy conference on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. Sam later completed an MSc in Spatial Planning and Development at the University of Reading.

Position: Assistant Planner

About Sam: During his time backpacking through Costa Rica and Indonesia, Sam climbed one of only two blue flame volcanos in the world.

Danniella

Danniella joined DLA in September 2022, following previous roles with Milton Keynes-based Smith Jenkins Town Planning and Savills London Planning team. Danniella graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2014 with an MPlan in Town and Regional Planning, and achieved RTPI chartership in 2016.

Position: Senior Planner

About Danniella: Danniella recently got into running, thanks to the encouragement of her DLA colleagues. She’s also a big foodie and loves a good music gig.

Emily

Joined DLA in September 2020 after completing a BSc in Spatial Planning and Business Management, and MSc in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham and became a Chartered Member of the RTPI in 2023.

Position: Planner

About Emily: Emily is a keen nature photographer, and enjoys exploring the lakes of MK, especially with a coffee and cake to finish off the walk.

Greg

Greg Joined DLA in April 2014 after completing a BSc in Geography and Urban and Regional Studies with an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Birmingham – he has been a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) since August 2015.

 

Position: Associate Planner

 

About Greg: Greg is an avid sportsman, he can be usually found on the cricket field or out jogging an offroad running trail, over the summer Greg completed a marathon through the Lake District.

Dan joined in 2020 after graduating from the University of Sheffield with a Masters in Town and Regional Planning.

Position: Planner

About Dan: Dan’s first ever music concert was to go and see The Prodigy at Milton Keynes Bowl, aged 13.

Aya

Aya joined DLA in July 2021 after completing an MPlan in Urban Studies & Planning at the University of Sheffield.

Position: Assistant Planner

About Aya: Aya loves to paint and read. She moved to the UK from Egypt aged 17.
